Product Roadmap for OfficePlace

OfficePlace is an integrated suite consisting of OfficePlace Sensors, OfficePlace Connect, and OfficePlace Group Calendar. It enables sensor-driven resource booking, synchronizes data between Resource Central and Microsoft 365, and provides a shared view of user calendars across teams in one unified solution.

About the roadmap

The roadmap provides an overview of major features in future releases. It’s intended as long-term guidance and not as a guarantee of future releases as our development priorities change based on customer feedback. The roadmap is therefore updated on a regular basis.

Customer feedback is highly valued, and if you have any feature requests, please don't hesitate to share them with us.

  • Enhanced platform security and compliance improvements
  • Aligned version visibility to ensure consistency across all product components.
  • Restricted tenant renaming to enforce stronger governance and prevent unintended changes.

Connect

  • Enhanced event-driven synchronization with Event Hub integration

Group Calendar

  • Add support for administrators to define default settings for new Group Calendar users
  • Enable demo and test scenarios without affecting production data
  • Add Excel export for List View to support easy reporting and insights
  • Add option to highlight current events to improve visibility and awareness
  • Maximize calendar space with an option to hide the left pane

Sensor

  • Refactoring of core components to improve scalability, maintainability, and system performance.
